These Research Use Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of pelicanpeps.co and to every order you place with Pelican Peps. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
1. Research Use Only
All products sold by Pelican Peps are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes. Our products are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, or cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and they are not for human or animal consumption or use of any kind. Nothing on this website is medical advice.
2. Your Agreement as a Buyer
By creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are purchasing products only for lawful research purposes.
- You will not use, sell, or distribute any product for human or animal consumption.
- You will store, handle, and dispose of products safely and in compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to you.
- The information you provide to us is true and accurate.
Pelican Peps may refuse or cancel any order, and may close any account, if we believe a product is being purchased or used for any purpose other than research.
3. Accounts
An account is required to view our catalog and place orders. You are responsible for keeping your login information private and for all activity on your account. Please contact us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Orders and Payment
Submitting an order through our website is a request to purchase. After you submit your order, you will receive an email with your order number, total due, and payment instructions. Your order is not confirmed until payment is received. Orders that are not paid within 3 business days may be canceled.
We do our best to keep prices and product information accurate. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or is unavailable, we may cancel the order and refund any payment received.
5. Shipping, Cancellations, and Returns
Shipping is described in our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, returns, and refunds are described in our Refund and Return Policy. Both are part of these Terms.
6. Product Information and Lab Results
Product descriptions and Certificates of Analysis are provided for informational and research reference only. Certificates of Analysis apply to the specific samples tested and may not reflect every batch.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are sold “as is” for research use only. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pelican Peps makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pelican Peps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of any product. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product involved.
9. Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless Pelican Peps and its owners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of any product, or from your violation of these Terms or any law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to orders placed after the effective date shown above.
